Jag has worked on a number of contracts for Cambridge University Press over the years.

Most recently I hired him to lead on a greenfield development for our Higher Education website. As the technical lead for this project Jag formed an excellent working relationship with the product owner and quickly grasped the business context of the challenge. Using his extensive technical skills and experience he architected a solution and then subsequently went on to build out both front and backend applications. He wasn't just code focussed, he remained involved in all aspects of the product development including UX, the Agile approaches & process being utilised, and continuous deployment with Kubernetes. As we grew a team around Jag he on-boarded and mentored new team members and ensured appropriate best practices were in place throughout their work.

I hired Jag on a contract basis to assist the in-house development team, with delivering a product in the AngularJS framework. Jag brought with him invaluable technical experience and a great attitude to the agile development process of the project. Being one of the first developers to start work on the project, Jag was pivotal in the important early foundation work and quickly estabilshed himself as a well respected member of the team. This meant that the in-house team and other contractors would often turn to Jag for his opinion and advice on approach and best practice. Jag also actively suggested ways of improvement throughout the project, as well writing examples of and training the team on testing for AngularJS. During his time with us, Jag actively contributed to AngularJS modules, services, controllers, custom filters, custom directives, OO javascript, Karma & Jasmine testing, Documentation, Bower setup, LESS & HTML templates. Jag clearly enjoys the work that he does, is self-motivated and is an invaluable asset to any team/project.
